What was measured
+1.1°C
Average change in skin temperature over two hours. Individual results ranged from 0.4 to 2.0 °C.
Preliminary observations in healthy adults at a Georgian research centre for physiotherapy and resort medicine. Summary provided by the manufacturer. Only the start, the two-hour average and the range were reported; the dashed line joins those points. It does not show any health effect.
After dark
It glows softly green at night.
Switch off the light and the silicone gives off a gentle green glow, so it is easy to find on the bedside table.
